I bought this as a gift for myself about a month ago because I have severe back/shoulder blade issues.

First off, I have to say this product has helped get rid of a throbbing pain/knots in my shoulder blade that I had for months with no relief. I had to use it every night for awhile for it to really do its work, but in the end I am VERY happy with the results. I like that I can change the mode to a lower pressure if I am using it for long periods of time. You really don’t want to have hard pressure on the body for too long, for it could inevitably cause other pain issues for you.

If I could change some things about it number one would be needing a remote. Since this device only works in 15 minute intervals, (which I also don’t like) once you get it going and get it in a good place and the nice message starts to roll for you, it then shuts off and goes back to default settings. And when you are lying against it trying to restart it with just your hand, its hard to navigate the buttons.

There are a couple of modes on here that I really don’t like and that’s when it stops, then goes, stops then goes. I like it when its consistent with its motion and if you don’t use the right buttons it can cause frustration and you have to manually take the massager away from your back and look at the buttons to figure out where the right mode is. I also don’t like that it automatically goes to cool setting when you turn it on because heat is what I am after. But what I wouldn’t give for a remote!

So for my perfect, relaxing setting is to change temp to heat with first bottom button, then change the pressure to low by pressing the second button to the bottom once. I find that works best.

Overall, I think it was worth the investment, it works better than using a hand massager to get those tight spaces in your back and shoulders. I recommend it to anyone who is dealing with hard to get places that suffer with pain.
